Loyal, good employees - the most valuable factor for a sustainable development of your business

Unfortunately it's a reality. Business owners and top managers too often under estimate loyalty of employees, focusing on shareholder value rather than creating employees wealth. The most silly argument for regular work compensation I ever heard is "employees wellbeing is not created through wealth". Why shouldn't loyal employees be compensated over average, if corporate results are over average?
